I am trying to update the BIOS in several of my HP EliteDesk 705 G4 DM 35W computers. I am running this through an endpoint management system called Tanium. The HPBIOSUPDREC.exe and the Q26_022300.bin are files attached to the package. This is the install string that I am using: HPBIOSUPDREC.exe -s -r -f Q26_022300.bin. When I run the package, I get an exit code of 259. In my research, this code deals with power options or battery issues. These are desktop computers so I do not understand why I would get an error code that deals with power issues when the computer is always on. In addition, I have changed the power settings, through the command line, so that the computer does not sleep or hibernate. Why am I still getting this error code? Is my syntax correct for my install string? Any information would be most appreciated.
