Keyboard Hotkey - Where is my Screen?

Good afternoon, 

I am seeking help with the hotkeys on my HP Classic Keyboard, specifically the top left hotkey which looks like 2 windows inside one window. I've inadvertently pressed this key on a number of occasions and my active screen disappears and is replaced with my normal desktop with no open windows. I've searched every way I can think of looking for a description of this hotkey, but have found nothing with the exception of this same question posted in 2017, but not fully answered. Can someone please tell me how or if I can go back to my active screen?

Can you share a screenshot of the key are you referring to?

Meanwhile, based on your description it looks like a new desktop screen key. You can check the active desktop screen by clicking on the active desktop screens icon on the taskbar.
