OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC GT22-1000i (6C1R9AV)

Low performance in cpu benchmarks, in programs like cinebench, geekbench, as well as other benchmarking programs, and terrible performance in programs and games. Sorry to lay my life out for you, but I saved for many years to be able to afford this. The money invested was supposed to be an investment into my future. I am disabled and use virtual reality for physical therapy, and it was the only way I was even able to really walk again. Before I could only do so with help from a walker and only for a minute. I also use it, of course, for entertainment, because it is usually impossible for me to get out of the house. But this pcs main purpose was to be able to seek jobs doing things that require as much performance as possible. I have been exploring jobs I would be able to do from home. Even considering further schooling. But now these hopes may be dashed if I can't get this to work right or get it replaced. I went without many meals for years to justify spending this much. This was too much money to spend on a pc that is going to underperform. I ordered it through the hp supplier on amazon, and am not even sure if they will take it back once it was opened. It is not a dead on arrival, but it does not perform nearly as well as it should for a system with these specs. The cpu in particular is running well below what it should be compared to what every other posted benchmark online. Can someone please help me? I am not even sure where to begin. This is going to be devastating to my life if I can't resolve this. It took me years just to pay off the credit cards from expenses when my fiancé had a brain tumor. This life has been too hard. I ran bios testing. updated all drivers. updated windows. ran the fans on full blast. unlocked the memory speed in bios. I have been researching options for fixing this and most involve a bios that is not as locked down as it is on the hp, and of the few examples I found they went unresolved. It might just be hardware. But if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I am very desperate.

I will add more pertinent technical information tomorrow and after that. For now I am mentally and physically exhausted from researching ways to fix this for many days and hours on end. 16 plus hours a day. This is very important to me. I need this to improve my life.
