Storage space on C drive 237gb: Prior to early May I had only 10gb free storage space on my PC.  It went down to 2gb and obviously I had serious issues running Photoshop/Lightroom.  All my camera photos were stored on an external drive with 2TB.  Phone photos and docs were stored on One Drive.  Local PC shop couldn't help, couldn't see why storage was so low.  I  decided to do a complete factory reset, making sure all photos, docs etc were safely stored on the external drive first.  After reset I had  158gb free!  Yay!  I one week I'd lost 10gb - app updates, to be expected.  Storage is still via external drive and one drive as above.  However, I've been keeping print outs of storage data and on the whole I am losing 1gb every 2 days? Between 4th June and 13th there was a loss of 5gb.  At this rate, in another 64 days I'll have lost all the storage again.  I can't work out where the storage is being used/taken.  Today I started with 128gb free, I cleared Temp folder and completed Disk clean up and storage was 134gb - result.  I switched off PC, waited a few minutes and then switched it back on - lost 10gb!!!!  See print out below for details. Thanking you, JulieScreenshot 2024-06-13 164911.jpgScreenshot 2024-06-13 171014.jpg

I notice you mention OneDrive -- which I make a point of NOT using, as I have plenty of local external storage and don't need to be inconvenienced by constant synching operations I do not need.

What you should try is downloading and installing Wise Disk Cleaner -- a free app that will allow you to remove junk and other files from your internal drives.

I find after routine Windows Updates, the app generally removes 2GB or more of files that MS simply does not bother  to clean up after updates.

Also, try turning off OneDrive to see if that makes a difference in local drive space utilization.
