HP Recommended

Why does my extended monitor screen goes black every few minutes then returns? I am using a Macbook Air M1 and this hp monitor is connected through HDMI. This monitor was newly acquired just this month... 

Please help! I've been trying to figure it out through its settings button below, yet no changes.
