I have a 250 GB Drive C and a 1 Terabyte drive. I have 18GB remaining on C. Lots of free space on D. When C fills up naturally, what will happen? Should I do something now to give C more space?

Hi:
Normally when you have a configuration like that, you store all of your files on the 1 TB drive and only use the 250 GB SSD for Windows and programs.
So, if you have a lot of photos, videos, documents and whatnot, copy the folders they are in and paste the folders to the D:\drive.
Once you confirm that you have successfully copied the files to the D:\ drive, you can open the folders on the C:\ drive and delete the files inside the folders.
DO NOT delete the folders themselves (pictures, documents, videos etc.,) because those are default Windows folders.
Just delete what's inside the folders.
Pictures and videos fill up a hard drive in no time if you have a lot of them.
Windows also creates a good deal of junk files from Windows update, etc.
You can run the disk cleanup utility in Windows.
When the disk cleanup window opens, click on the cleanup system files box, and after the window reappears, you can check all of the boxes to delete the files.
You may find that there can be several gigabytes of old Windows update files to be deleted if you do not periodically run that uitlity.
