HP All-in-One PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have McAfee LiveSafe Trial(30 days) that comes with my HP All-in-One PC. I have reset my PC last month with all my information erased. Today McAfee LiveSafe askes if I want to purchase a yearly subscription of it, I did. First, on my banking App, the statement states: "Mcafee *Www.Mcafee.com",  which McAfee don't spell their name with a lower-case "a", instead they always use a upper-case "A". And plus the first "w" should be in lower-cases, and the second McAfee word is spelled wrong again with a lower-case "a". So I called the McAfee [Personal Information Removed] support number, but I have doubts about if they are the authentic McAfee or not, because I read it on the McAfee website that hackers can do DNS poisoning, and bring me to a "fake" site. And my computer is very slow for a long time now, and there is another article about cryptohacking, hackers hijacks your computer to mine cryptos, I play around with some cryptos as well, and I am thinking that if I have been targeted. I purchased McAfee LiveSafe today for a subscription of 1 year, should I return it? What about my computer is running very slow, how do I know if I am cryptohacked?

Hello
in my simple opinion, the doubt must be removed quickly
You have reinstalled the computer, if you have clicked directly on a McAfee link, in order to extend the subscription, you should have, if it is not already done, a quick response to activate the program
If you have any doubts, you can easily find McAfee contact details, compare on different sites, and they should confirm or not if it's OK!
Now here, we won't do much for you if you've been ripped off !!
