Microsoft Office Starter 2010- Can' reinstall

I tried this solution and it still doesn't allow me to download the necessary files to reinstall the Office Starter 2010 files.

Hi:

Office 2010 Starter is no longer available for download from Microsoft.

They shut down the server that used to provide the installation files.

I wish this had been clear on the forums. I would have tried harder to find a repair before uninstalling. Now I have no way to access my files or print them.

Is it possible at this point to go back and restore or recover the program?

Unfortunately, there is no way that I know of to get Office Starter 2010 to work again.

Don't dispair...To access, edit or print your files, just install a free Microsoft Office-type program such as Libre Office.

That will allow you to do anything with your Word and Excel documents that you could do with Office Starter.
