Product: HP Compaq DC7900
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Hi,

 

I am having problems trying to find the PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver for in (32-bit) and the PCI Serial Port driver for a HP DC7900 computer I was given.

 

Can anyone assist in a link or location to obtain these drivers?

Please try the following drivers

 

  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp41001-41500/sp41165.exe

 

and

 

  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp41001-41500/sp41288.exe

 

Note: This machine could be 20 years old. You are running unsupported Operating system.

You need this driver for the PCI Serial Port...

 

This package contains the Intel Local Management Service (LMS) and Serial-over-LAN (SOL) support for Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) for the supported desktop models and operating systems. This software is part of the Intel Digital Office Initiative.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp41001-41500/sp41283.exe

 

My dc7900 was built in 2009, as most of them were.

 

So while it is old, it ain't 20 years old--more like 8, if I did the math correctly.
