My monitors (27" Dell S2421HGF & 24" Acer K242HYL) would randomly lose signal to the computer while the computer remained on, and I could still hear what videos and/or games I had running. My computer would then restart after i pressed the power button once and briefly. No holding. The thing is, it didn't seem to completely turn of before restarting, because all of the fanst would still be running and the lights for the chasis, gpu and everything would still be on. It happened before and I assumed it was because I either needed to update my graphics or windows, but all of these are currently up to date. Edit: It also seems to happen when i try too boot up a game.

hi
Your problem is probably hardware
Have you tested with the smaller of the two screens alone
If the computer still seems to be working, it is a probable cut of the video card.
this can be caused by overheating
tried to check nin and max temperature
in any case, you must be under warranty, contact your reseller, or hp directly!
