Wireless mouse may have connectivity issues for various reasons. Following are a few things you can try to see if your mouse starts working.
- Check the USB Dongle: The very first think to check is the USB dongle. Turn off the mouse and keyboard. Plugin the dongle. Turn on the mouse first and see if that gets connected.
- Adjust the Mouse Battery: It could be a power problem which you can fix by adjusting the batteries or replacing them with different one.
- Check Your Drivers: Old or conflicting drivers also produce such issues. Try to update your mouse drivers.
- Test Your Mouse with CPS Test: Check if your mouse button are working properly with CPS Test. It counts the clicks you make.
- Reboot Your Computer: Try rebooting your computer once. It will release bad connections in cache. Try connecting the mouse again.
