How do I get apps from taskbar to desk top?

Put rather simply -- you don't -- as the apps are in their own folders inside Windows system folders.  You can not "move them".

But what I think you're asking is how to create shortcut icons on your desktop for each of the apps, right?

There are really two things to do: (1) create a shortcut, (2) remove the taskbar entry.

To do the first, open the Win11 menu, go to All Apps. Click on the icon for the app, select More, and select Create shortcut on desktop.

To do the second, repeat the above operation but select the option to Unpin from taskbar.

Good Luck

This is a two part answer...

Here is how to add a desktop shortcut.

1) open the start menu
2) open all apps
3) click and drag the app you want to the desktop.

This will create the desktop shortcut.

To remove the app from the Taskbar. Right click on it and click "unpin from taskbar".
