My HPSA has two problems:1) it tells me "Your LENOVO 90BG003JUS is not a supported HP device." - doesn't make sense to me as I thought LENOVO was HP.
2) my HPSA can not tell me the status of my printer.

You are welcome.
HPSA is not meant to support not-HP devices.
Uninstalling the app is best, I think.
Your printer doesn't need HPSA -- you can manage the device directly using the Software and applications for that device.

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Tools > Supply Status

Note:

Problems HPSA – Uninstall / Reinstall
Make sure the HPSA is completely uninstalled:
- If you tried to install the legacy version of the HPSA, do check / uninstall the software from Programs and Features
- App version of the HPSA would be located in Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
Next,
- Run Windows Updates >> If you wish to do so, check for Optional updates
Next,
- Switch Fast Start OFF
- Shut down the system
- Restart computer
- Download and install HPSA

Thanks for the dual response. after a little research I realized that IBM had the Lenovo relationship, not HP - so thanks for the link and clearing up my misperception. Explains why the HPSA does not "support" my desktop :).
I will try the uninstall as stipulated and see if that works.
