Hi,

I've bought a HP Pavilion 24-k00118na All-in-One- AMD RyzenTM 5. Had received it a few hours ago and just now wanted to use it for the first time, but for some reason it does not open. After pushing the power button nothing really happens. All I can see on screen are settings after pressing "on screen display".

Does anyone know if there is anything to do prior to pushing power button and running the PC for the very first time? Setup instruction is not very helpful and as it is the brand new PC, I cannot imagine that it is already broken...

What you are pressing is the Menu button for the display, not the power button for the PC.

 

This is usually on the bottom of the display panel on the left side.
