My computer does not recognize the Scan Disk Memory card

I am trying to load pictures from my camera to my computer.  The San Disk memory card is not listed as a choice under the Devices and Drives.  Do I need to download any drivers?

Did you upgrade/downgrade your computer ? What is your SanDisk memory card ? Your machine ONLY supports the following cards:

Supports the following cards:

• Secure Digital (SD)
• Mini Secure Digital (mini-SD)
• Memory Stick (MS), including Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick Pro Duo
• Compact Flash I
• Compact Flash II
• IBM Microdrive (MD)
• Smart Media (SM)

(a) If your card is in the list, please try to download and install the following driver first

                  http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71705.exe

      If still no luck, download and install the following driver

                   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71715.exe

(b) If NOT in the list, please use cards on the above list ONLY.
