Microsoft Windows 11

I am seeking your assistance with my OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0127c. After performing a BIOS update, my computer is now encountering critical startup issues.

**Issue Description:**
- **Beep Codes:** Upon powering on the system, it emits 8 long beeps followed by 2 long and 2 short beeps.
- **Peripheral Power:** My keyboard and mouse briefly power on during startup but then turn off completely, and the system does not progress beyond this stage.
- **Monitor Status:** The monitor remains black, and no BIOS recovery or startup screen is displayed.

**Steps I Have Already Tried:**
1. **BIOS Recovery Using Key Combination:**
- I attempted to initiate BIOS recovery by holding the Windows key + B (and also tried Windows key + V) while pressing the power button for 2-3 seconds. Unfortunately, the BIOS recovery screen does not appear, and the system continues to emit the same beep codes.

2. **Power Cycling and Minimal Setup:**
- I have tried power cycling the computer, unplugging all peripherals except for the keyboard and monitor, but the issue persists.

3. **Checking Connections and Power Supply:**
- I have verified that all internal and external connections are secure and that the power supply is functioning properly.

Despite these efforts, I have been unable to resolve the issue or restore the system to a bootable state. Given the critical nature of this issue, I would greatly appreciate any additional guidance you can provide. If a service appointment is necessary, I would also appreciate instructions on how to arrange this.

**Request for Assistance:**
Could you please provide further assistance to help me resolve this issue? My computer is essential for my daily work, and I need to restore it as soon as possible.

This condition indicates that the main area (DXE) of the BIOS has become corrupted and no recovery binary image is available. It can also occur when updating the BIOS.

The red light blinks twice, and then two, short white light blinks (2 long red, 2 short white)

You will need to do the USB recovery where you download an older BIOS and try to install by booting the USB.

That is the second part of step 3 mentioned below.

Click here to see how to recover your BIOS.
Do 1, 2, and the first part of 3.
For the second part of 3 you will need a USB flash drive and possibly an
older BIOS if the recent BIOS caused the problem. Make sure the USB flash had LED lights.

For laptops, step 2 'CMOS reset' there is no CMOS battery nor CMOS switch and no need to open the laptop. Use the Windows key + 'v' as explained here.

To install from USB.
When you power up your system the LEDs on the flash drive should flash once at the instant power is applied. They will then flash about three to five seconds later (hopefully). When they flash a second time that means the files are being read from the flash drive. If you never see it flash a second time then the boot loader is damaged and you cannot recover the bios unless you use a programming tool or replace the chip. You hold down the Windows key + B key when powering up with the USB flash inserted.

I do not know which ROM ID you have.  There are 3 different IDs  and each one has a list of previous versions to download

If enough of the BOOT loader is working it should detect the wrong BIOS.  If you never see the LED lights blank then you know it's not loading and not going to work all you can do is replace the motherboard or take it to a shop and have them program the bios or replace it
