Hello, when I turn on my pc it shows “preparing automatic repair” and then it goes to a blue screen that says “your pc needs to be repaired”, with an error code :0xc00000185.
I have tried everything I can and it’s not working, it doesn’t go to the advanced options screen either.
I have a lot off school projects saved there that I need to do. Please I need help

Did you recently make any changes to your system: Win10 update? Download some new app? Add memory or connect some new device that downloaded a driver? Power go out when using it?
Press ESC and run the HP diagnostic and look for errors.
Try the startup repair and it failed?
Try booting into safe mode?
Temporarily, if you can boot into safe mode you can do your assignments and later we can fix the problem.
There are only a few ways to boot into safe mode and they may not work but worth a try.

If you did the startup repair and it failed there are few options left. Basically you do a custom install of windows but allow the install to preserve all your documents and all other files.
Please post back before doing that custom repair. We need to ensure the disk drive and other devices are working OK before any re-install.

This is actually good news. You cannot boot because the disk is bad and the system is in good enough condition to be able to figure it out
Download the Win10 iso and create a boot DVD (double layer) or USB flash (8gb)
Boot windows but do not install, just select "repair" and run the trouble shooter
Select the command prompt and run the disk repair on your "windows boot drive"
It will not be "C". More likely, it will be "E" Please verify by typing
dir E:
and look and see if you recognized the drive files
Then run the disk repair
CHKDSK /f /r /x E:
Verify dir e:
then run the check disk app
after it finished then reboot and run the startup repair
Post back here if a problem.
Once the system boots we can run better diagnostics and see if the drive needs to be replaced.

hello,
I did everything but it says "couldn't repair your pc", please what do i do and when i checked the disk the second time it said windows found a problem and i should type "chkdsk/f" to fix it but it says it is "write protected".

the write protect refers to the booting system drive, usually "X"
The chkdsk needs to be directed to the E drive or whatever the drive is that has your windows
See if you can repair the drive otherwise you will need to buy a replacement drive.
Post back here what you find.
[edit] chkdsk /f e:
