AT-2020
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello Everyone,

I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong thread, I am very new to this site. I was looking for help because I have an AT-2020 microphone that I tried to sell for months, and was nowhere to be found, so now I want to use it, but the problem is, a very loud static noise that's covering my voice. I could hear my voice, very quietly.

I thought maybe it was the computer, maybe somehow my surroundings were making a lot of noise (though I doubted it) so I tested it with another microphone near me, the Niver NW-700, which worked perfectly Was.

am I doing something wrong? Is the microphone broken? Thanks a lot.

@Harriet_Ayers01 -- is it broken?

Have you tried that microphone in a different computer?  If you still get "static", then it is likely that the microphone is broken.
