Hi, just received my new computer. It came with McAfee installed. Just opened it up and tried to download Google Chrome. Looks fine, installs and places the icon on my desktop. If I click it, a very quick white box flashes and nothing opens. I have tried to uninstall and install again several times, and the same thing happens. I have restarted my computer several times as well. I have tried to pause Mcafee real time and to change the settings for chrome in Mcafee and nothing works. All the same result. Computer needed to access chrome for kids' school (as well as gaming) so if this isn't resolvable, this is a useless purchase, and it needs to go back. Thanks for any help!

UPDATE: Thank you all for the suggestions. I had tried all of them, and nothing worked. Ultimately I reset my PC to the settings as it was delivered from the factory. I downloaded Chrome and it now works. I don't know what the issue was, but I tried everything based on the feedback given here and additional research. Hope this will help someone else in the future if they encounter the same problem. Thanks.

Evidently there were some changes made between factory settings and the way it was when this started that caused the conditions to be unfavorable for Chrome to run but glad it is sorted out now.
Thanks for reporting back with the cure.

Welp! So it worked last night and then this morning it reverted back to not launching. No changes were made to anything. I just did another factory reset (helps that I've added nothing to this computer) and this time I don't plan on opening up McAfee (which came installed on my computer). That was the only thing I've opened since the reset. I will give it another 24 hours and see if it's working again.
