Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Sounds like the fan, But its very loud and distracting. It comes as soon as I turn the device on. Becomes less in about 15 minutes but never goes away.

@Tsering1 -- it probably is the fan that is making noise. Note that Windows "calls home" every time you launch it. Windows might be downloading security-updates, and anti-virus updates, and iTunes updates, and Adobe updates, and installing them. This "work" causes the CPU to work harder, and generate more heat, and the motherboard reacts to the extra heat by speeding-up the fan, and making the fan noisier.

 

Exactly how "new" is the computer? The first few times that a "fresh" copy of Windows has Internet access, the above "updating" certainly will be done.
