Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've just bought a HP 320 FHD webcam and have no way of adjusting the camera. I bought it to replace a logitec camera, The old camera has a control panel but the HP doesn't. I can not adjust the zoom and Windows has no controls for the HP. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Hi @FaceProfiler,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP 320 FHD webcam doesn't come with its own dedicated control panel software like the Logitech camera did, you can try the following steps to adjust the settings:

Windows Camera App: Windows 10 comes with a built-in Camera app that allows you to take photos and videos. While it may not offer extensive controls, it might have basic settings like brightness, contrast, and exposure that you can adjust. You can find the Camera app by searching for it in the Start menu.

Device Manager: You can try accessing the device settings through Device Manager:

  • Right-click on the Start menu and select "Device Manager."
  • Find your HP 320 FHD webcam under the "Cameras" section or the "Imaging devices" section.
  • Right-click on the webcam device and select "Properties."
  • Look for a "Details" tab or something similar where you might find settings you can adjust. However, be cautious while adjusting settings here as they might not be user-friendly.

Third-Party Software: Consider using third-party webcam software that offers more advanced features and controls. Many free and paid webcam software options are available online, such as ManyCam, OBS Studio, or CyberLink YouCam. These programs often provide extensive control over webcam settings including zoom, exposure, white balance, and more.

HP Support and Drivers: Visit the official HP website and search for your webcam model. Look for any available drivers or software downloads specifically designed for your webcam. Sometimes, HP provides dedicated software that offers advanced control over webcam settings.
