No more updates for apps on my tc530?

Hi there,

About two years ago I bought a tc530 with ThinPro OS (which is, I assume, a Linux version). I have been updating the system succesfully since the beginning, using EasyUpdate. But for quite some time now, no updates have appeared of FireFox and Citrix Workspace. The versions that are running now are FireFox 91.1.0esr-hp1a-tinpro-7.1 and CitrixWorkspace app 20.12.0hp1b-thinpro-71.

I am running ThinPro 7.1-sp version 19.5. This service pack  was also installed quite some time ago, but the release frequency of service packs has generally been lower than that of FireFox.

Two questions arise:

- are my apps and OS up to date? And if not, why I am I not seeing any updates anymore?

- where can I check for the latest versions?

PS: I'm not sure if this is the right board, but I didn't encounter any that was more appropriate.

Hello Ferdinand,

HP has upgraded to ThinPro 7.2 operating system and may not provide any further upgrades for HP ThinPro 7.1. Your T530 system is completely compatible and should have the license for the free upgrade if was shipped with ThinPro from HP. Youw will find the regular addon updates for this OS once you are done with the upgrade.

You can install ThinPro 7.2 using Easy Update or use the Windows based standalone tool HP Thin Update tool to create a bootable media. You can use the below link to download the latest version of HP Thin Update tool :

I had ignored the category "Full Image Updates" in Easy Update since somewhere in the beginning. Thanks to your directions, I was able to download and install a full image update of ThinPro 7.2 SP6.4 and then apply service pack updates. I am now on:
ThinPro 7.2 SP 10.3

FireFox 91.5.0esr

Citrix Workspace 21.12.0.18

I will keep an eye on the Full Image Updates from now on, too!
