Omen light studio not opening

I was trying to change the lighting on my OMEN 35L prebuilt desktop and it told me to go to the OMEN light studio app, when I try to open it, it doesn't open, I've also tried as administrator and normally in app, and I've also tried resetting and uninstalling and reinstalling the app, it doesn't pop up on task manager when I try to open but it does have the blue loading circle next to my cursor, how do I access the app?

I can imagine how frustrating it must be to try customizing your OMEN 35L desktop lighting only to find that OMEN Light Studio won’t launch, even after reinstalling and running it as administrator. 

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get OMEN Light Studio working again:

1. Confirm OMEN Gaming Hub Is Installed and Running

OMEN Light Studio is a separate app, but it requires OMEN Gaming Hub to function. Make sure:

• OMEN Gaming Hub is installed and running in the background.
• You launch Light Studio from within OMEN Gaming Hub, not directly from the Start menu.

2. Update Lighting Firmware

HP identified a bug where lighting features stop working due to interrupted firmware updates. This can prevent OMEN Light Studio from launching properly.

Fix:

• Open OMEN Gaming Hub.
• If prompted for a lighting firmware update, click to install it.
• Do not interrupt the update process.

3. Reinstall OMEN Light Studio Properly

Sometimes a corrupted install can cause the app to hang silently.

1. Uninstall OMEN Light Studio and OMEN Gaming Hub.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall OMEN Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store.
4. Launch OMEN Gaming Hub and install OMEN Light Studio from within it.

4. Check for Background Conflicts

Apps like HyperX NGENUITY or other RGB software can conflict with OMEN Light Studio. Try disabling or uninstalling them temporarily.
