OneDrive effed up my Downloads folder. Every time I download anything or try to view images (PDFs work fine) it says "Windows cannot find blah blah blah" I can copy and paste the photo and see the thumbnail for it, but it wont open. HALP!

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

I haven't use OneDrive since it was called SkyDrive.

 

I shutdown OneDrive on all new Windows installations.

 

Can you work with files within the OneDrive folder?

 

My advice is to move all OneDrive files to a local folder. Then shutdown OneDrive.

 

That's what I would do in your situation.
