@Jerry_57

I completely agree with 3VRR.

The update was visible in Windows Update for a few days. After a short time, Windows installed it automatically.

Drivers like this, which aren't necessary on a Notebook, don't belong in Windows Update, but in HP Support Manager.

Please forward this issue to HP software engineers for a solution. The update needs to be rolled back.

Thanks for your reply and forwarding up to the right team. Please tell them to stop putting  useless apps from third party vendors in the updates like this one.

Simply uninstall the device. The previous version will then be installed. Next, start Windows Update. The new version will be installed again. Install it, then go directly to Device Manager and select the previous driver, and you'll be fine. It's a bit cumbersome, but unfortunately, that's the only way to do it in your case

There are Internet connection issues too caused by this update

Thank you for you input. Could you explain further what you are seeing with the  Internet connection issues caused by this update since this has been escalated up the ladder so they will know.

Hello,

I would like to report an issue that started after the latest update.

Before the update, my network ping was stable at around 40 ms. After installing the update, the ping increased to around 80 ms and frequently spikes to approximately 150 ms and more .. sometime full drop and the connection restart. This happens intermittently and causes noticeable instability.

In addition, I noticed a significant change in the fan behavior. The fan noise became much louder than before the update, even during normal usage. And changes in the power , with short freezing

I would like to note that all of these issues are still present even after performing  rollback to the previous version.
