Product: HP Pro 3500 (D8646UT#ABA)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 on my 89-year-old mother's HP Pro 3500 (D8646UT#ABA) and now I'm seeing in device manager a message that the PCI Simple Communications driver is missing. I've tried the exe patches in a couple of other threads, but they don't work. I get a message that the operating system isn't compatible. She currently has Windows release 10.0.19043. Would really appreciate a link to the correct file. Thank you.

You need this driver for that device...

 

This package contains the Intel MEI Driver for supported desktop models running a supported operating system.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61501-62000/sp61594.exe

 

Manually install the driver if the auto install method doesn't work.
