Hello everyone,
Currently im encountering alot off problems on my HP OMEN desktop.
Ive noticed since a 2 bios updates ago that my performance is decreasing.
Im getting worse fps in games then before.
My main question is if there is any way to roll back bios versions.
And i was wondering why there is barely anything in the bios that can be adjusted for example there is no option to undervolt your cpu etc. (Ofcourse i did research to see how it might be possible and i came down to HP OMEN GHUB but even there is no option to undervolt)
The main issue im noticeing is that whenever i hit big fps dips both my cpu and gpu are going from around 70/80% utilization to like 40%, Also i have alot off fps spikes.
Please help me! im going crazy
Greetings Martijn

Well after alot of digging i found my solution..
Im really disappointed in the fact not even a hp support person can reply.
So what i think happend, is that the new bios update prob corrupted my bios settings for my cpu.
I sadly had to find another way to try and fix this since hp refuses you to even get a look into the bios to see anything related to your cpu. (What i find weird)
What i did i installed ryzen master some one adviced me to and apply game mode profile.
And now my pc is working back to normal.
Anyways just to get it off my chest i will never buy anything hp related cause i do not understand why everything is so limited.
Atleast let people be able to look at potentional corruption in the bios.

HP doesn’t officially support rolling back BIOS versions, but you can try using the HP BIOS Recovery method with an older version from their support site—just be cautious, as downgrading can sometimes cause further issues. You should also check your Windows power settings and ensure they are set to High Performance or Ultimate Performance to maximize system efficiency. Additionally, verify your OMEN Gaming Hub settings, as BIOS updates can sometimes reset configurations. If your GPU drivers were recently updated, rolling them back to a previous version might help, as newer drivers can sometimes introduce performance issues. Since you’re experiencing CPU and GPU utilization drops, it’s worth monitoring their temperatures with HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner to ensure they’re not throttling due to overheating. If the issue persists, consider resetting the BIOS to default settings or reaching out to HP support for further assistance.

It sounds like the issue was caused by a BIOS update that potentially corrupted CPU-related settings, and since HP locks down BIOS options, troubleshooting was difficult. Applying a Ryzen Master "Game Mode" profile helped restore stability.
