I have 2 printers connected to my computer via the router. One of the printers works perfectly. I can print to the problem hp printer from my ipad. When I look at the printer in the Printers and scanners in Settings it acknowledges the both printers printers but says Driver is unavailable for the problem printer. How do I correct the problem?

Read and decide whether you want to try ...
The "problem printer" may object to the "other" printer for some reason.
HP Diagnostics - https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
After you have completed the Troubleshooting (up to and including reinstalling the printer software for the stubborn "problem printer"),
If the problem persists no matter what you try,
Consider:
Download and save the Full Feature Software for the "good printer".
Uninstall the "good printer" from Programs and Features.
Uninstall the "bad printer" from Programs and Features.
Restart the computer and log in.
If the "good printer" is still lurking about in Devices and Printers, remove it.
If the "bad printer" is still lurking about in Devices and Printers, remove it.
Example
Check / Verify: If the printer drivers are still lurking in Devices and Printers, remove driver(s) related to the printer.
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers
Left-Click on any unwanted Printer found in the Printers list
Clicking on a printer, displays options along the ribbon (near the top of the Devices and Printers window)
Click Print Server Properties > tab Drivers
Click on Driver(s) in list, select Remove > OK to exit menu
Back in Devices and Printers > Right-Click on the printer > Remove Device
Restart the computer and log in
Even if you do not remove any bits, Restart Everything, including your router.
Download-save-install the Full Feature Software for the "bad" printer.
After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in.
If not done, Consider updating the Firmware
If / After the firmware is installed, Restart the computer and log in
Check to see if it works.
If yes, then
Download-save-install the Full Feature Software for the "good" printer.
Check again to see if everything works.
Commentary
Admittedly, it is a bunch of work and it may not even help.
I did recently see a post that described a similar situation - removing the "other" printer (the one that seemed fine) did help sort the trouble with the stubborn printer.
If you want to try a "shortened" version of the procedure, remove the just "good" printer (and Restart). Check see if the "bad" printer recovers itself.
