Hi @MarineTop,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To select where to save documents after scanning on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e or 9010 All-in-One printer, follow these steps:

Using HP Smart App (Windows, macOS, Mobile Devices):

Open HP Smart App:

  • Launch the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. If you haven't installed it, you can download it from the HP website or your device’s app store.

Select Your Printer:

  • Ensure your printer is selected in the HP Smart app.

Choose Scan:

  • On the home screen of the HP Smart app, click on Scan.

Scan Settings:

  • Before scanning, you can adjust settings like file format (PDF, JPEG, etc.), resolution, and more.
  • Click on More Settings or Settings (depending on your app version) to fine-tune the scan settings.

Select Save Location:

  • After scanning, you'll be prompted with options like Save, Share, or Print.
  • Click Save. A window will pop up allowing you to choose the file name and the destination folder where you want to save the scanned document.
  • Navigate to the folder where you want to save the document, and click Save.

Using HP Scan (Windows and macOS):

Open HP Scan Software:

  • Open HP Scan from your computer. If you don’t have it installed, it might come with the full feature software for your printer.

Select Scan Settings:

  • Choose your scan settings, including the file type, color mode, and resolution.

Choose Save Location:

  • After selecting the settings, click on Advanced Settings or similar options, and you'll find a Destination tab.
  • Here, you can set the default save location for your scanned documents.

Scan the Document:

  • Once you’ve configured the settings, click Scan.
  • After the scan is complete, a window will pop up allowing you to choose the save location.

Using the Printer's Control Panel:

Access the Control Panel:

  • On the printer's touchscreen, tap the Scan icon.

Select Save to Computer or Network Folder:

  • Choose whether to save to a Computer or a Network Folder (if available).
  • For Computer, ensure the printer is connected to the computer, either via USB or over the network.

Choose Destination Folder:

  • If you haven’t set a default location, the printer might ask you to select where to save the scan on your computer.

Start the Scan:

  • Once you’ve selected the location, start the scan. The document will be saved to the specified folder.

Tips:

  • Default Location: You can set a default save location in both the HP Smart app and HP Scan software, so you don't have to choose it every time.
  • Renaming Files: You can usually rename the file before saving, either through the scanning software or the file explorer.

These steps should help you save scanned documents to your desired location.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
