Problems with updating my pc's bios.

HP Pavilion 500-405nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently I have been interested with the development of android apps, but I while starting developing I stumbled upon one problem.

When trying to test an app you have created you will have to use an emulator that requires your PC to have Intel Virtualization Technology ON in your Bios settings. I noticed however when trying to turn it on that my bios version is too old to even have the option to turn this option on/off.

When I look up and download the newest Bios drivers for my PC on the HP website it says in the HP BIOS Update and Recovery page that this BIOS update is not compatible with my device, and it only gives me the option to Create a recovery USB and a Copy.

Does anyone got advice on how to update my BIOS?

Your PC should support VT right out of the Box.   The processor your PC has supports VT.

If there is no setting, a BIOS update won't make one appear.

Look at the illustration at the discussion below for where the enable VT setting is...
