Let's try these steps -

1) Click on the Start or the Windows icon.
2) Open Settings > Apps.
3) From the list select, HP Hardware diagnostics and click on Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.
5) Download and install the diagnostics from the Windows Store.

 

To get the latest version of the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics be sure to run WSRESET from the windows search bar instead of clicking on the store icon..
