Hi
Well I installed ok, but when I opened the App I get
Application enabling services currently unavailable
Please follow the instructions below to get the application running:
1 Close the HP Support Assistant application and reopen it.
2 Restart your computer and open HP Support Assistant.
3 Install all of the latest Windows updates and try step two again.
I have tried option 1, and will try option 2 later...

Ok, I rebooted, and whilst it asked me if I wanted to keep the HP on the task bar and I said yes, I still get the same error.

I have no pending updates from Wiindows.
Note: I have never been asked to remove my settings at any stage, it has always just uninstalled and installed, and when it tries to connect it does start to show my avatar, but when I uninstall, it never prompts me and just uninstalls.
Maybe I need a complete "utility" to delete it all from the registry and do a clean install?
Chris
