When i insert a CD in the drive in my desktop, I can't figure out how to WATCH/PLAY it. Read something about having to shut down the computer, then reboot and it supposedly loads the correct drivers? Very confusing and doesn't work anyway

What you read is totally bogus.

 

We need to know more details -- like the model number of your PC, the OS version it is running.

 

We can proceed when you provide the information.
