I have the same problem. I receive a the same notification after installing the driver update successfully. Th eupdate that is offered over and over again is for the Reltaek rtl8xxx series Bluetooth driver with SoftPaq SP153275 Version 1.10.1061.3021.

When I open the information it says:  ‘ This package contains the DCHU driver installation package for the Realtek Bluetooth in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems ( Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Windows10/11 Cloud OS)’.  Could it be that the notebook/laptop causes the problem  … I have an HP Pro Tower 400 G9 PCI Desktop Product number 6A839EA#UUG Serial number [edited].

the notebook/laptop vs desktop?

Hello @DirkVdE,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Your HP Pro Tower 400 G9 PCI Desktop is fully supported, and the repeated update is a known HP Support Assistant / driver detection issue, especially with Realtek Bluetooth DCHU drivers.

What’s actually happening

  • SoftPaq SP153275 (Realtek RTL8xxx Bluetooth – DCHU) installs successfully

  • HP Support Assistant (HPSA) fails to correctly detect the installed DCHU driver

  • As a result, it keeps offering the same update again and again

This is a software detection loop, not a hardware incompatibility.

Uninstall the Driver Completely:

Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).

Expand the "Bluetooth" section, right-click on the Realtek Bluetooth device, and select "Uninstall device".

Check the box for "Delete the driver software for this device" if prompted, and then restart your laptop.

Download the Latest Driver:

Visit the HP Support page for your laptop model and download the latest Realtek Bluetooth driver compatible with Windows 11.

Install the driver manually after downloading it.

Disable Automatic Driver Updates:

Open the Control Panel and go to System > Advanced system settings > Hardware > Device Installation Settings.

Select "No (your device might not work as expected)" to prevent Windows from automatically reinstalling the driver.

Run Windows Update Troubleshooter:

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

Run the "Windows Update" troubleshooter to check for any underlying issues.

Check for Conflicting Updates:

Open Settings > Windows Update > Update history.

Look for any failed updates related to the Realtek driver and uninstall them if necessary.

Use HP Support Assistant:

Install and run the HP Support Assistant to ensure all drivers and firmware are up to date.
