Recover/restore a modified HP 110-243w Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR)

I have a HP 110-243w Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR) that was recently given to me by another family member. There is one problem, they tried to fix an issue, (turned off the computer mid update) and tried to fix it by using the flash drive for an Acer Laptop.  I have tried doing a recovery on it and got Acer again, but I am not able to run some of the programs that I need.  So need to get a desktop program for it and I would like not to have to settle for just any desktop and get the same drivers that would be available for this computer.   So my question is this, can I do a windows 10 recovery that would also have the correct drivers or is the long way the only way going one by one on the drivers?

The PC originally came with W8.1 from HP.

The only way to get the original factory image would be to purchase recovery media from this vendor:

Computer Surgeons - Windows 8.1 64 Bit (14AM1RRA601) Recovery Kit F5T45AV For HP Pavilion Desktop PC...

Then you can upgrade back to W10.

The thing you can do is to use the Media creation tool from the link below to create a bootable W10 installation flash drive and clean install W10.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

Boot from the installation media, and when you get past the Install Now screen, you will be asked to select the version of W10 you want to install. Select W10 Home.

Then you will be asked to enter a product key.

Select the 'I don't have a product key' option and W10 will install and then activate after you are connected to the internet.

Then you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
