Hi, I mistakenly uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++2019 Redistributable Package preinstalled app in my HP Pavilion intel core i5. Please how do I reinstall it?

@Mas0127,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

No worries! You can easily reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Packages by following these steps:

1. Download the Official Installer:

  1. Go to Microsoft’s official download page and download each file:
    👉 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe (64-bit)
    👉 https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe (32-bit)

2. Install the Redistributable Package:

  1. Install the downloaded files (vc_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe) each by right-clicking on each file, and "Run as administrator".
  2. Check I agree to the license terms, then click Install.
  3. Restart your computer after installation.

3. Verify Installation:

  1. Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  2. Look for Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) and (x86).
  3. If it appears in the list, the installation was successful!

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Kind Regards,
