@Kwilson15, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptop issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your laptop is an HP device, you can reset it to factory settings by following these general steps:
Backup Your Data: Ensure all your important data is backed up as a factory reset will erase all existing data on the device.
Access System Recovery:
- Restart your HP laptop.
- Press F11 repeatedly as soon as the HP logo appears. This should take you to the System Recovery screen.
Choose Factory Reset Option:
- On the System Recovery screen, select "Troubleshoot."
- Click "Reset this PC," then select "Remove everything."
Complete the Process: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the factory reset. This will reinstall the Windows operating system and return your laptop to its original state.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
