To reset your HP ENVY All-in-One - 27-b014 to factory settings, follow these steps.
Reset Through Windows Settings
Backup Important Data:
- Before resetting, make sure you back up any files or data you don’t want to lose.
Access Reset Settings:
- Click on the Start menu and select Settings (gear icon).
- Go to Update & Security.
- Select Recovery from the left-hand menu.
Choose Reset Option:
- Under Reset this PC, click Get started.
Select Reset Type:
- Choose one of the following options:
- Keep my files: Removes apps and settings but keeps personal files.
- Remove everything: Removes all files, apps, and settings.
- If prompted, select Restore factory settings (if available).
Follow On-Screen Instructions:
- Follow the steps provided on-screen to complete the reset process.
Reset Using HP Recovery Manager
If Windows won’t load properly or you want a more thorough factory reset:
Turn Off Your PC:
- Press the power button to turn it off completely.
Access Recovery Manager:
- Turn the PC back on and repeatedly press the F11 key as soon as it starts booting.
- Select Troubleshoot from the menu, then choose Recovery Manager (or a similar option).

Factory Reset:
- Choose System Recovery or Restore Factory Settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the system.
Using Recovery Media
If you created recovery media when you first set up the PC:
- Insert the recovery USB/DVD.
- Restart your PC and boot from the recovery media (you may need to press Esc or F9 during startup to access the boot menu).
- Follow the on-screen prompts to perform a factory reset.
