I have an old PC that I have t used for about 6 years at which time I switched to my laptop. That being said, there are some old excel spreadsheets on there from 2015 that I need to access. Problem being, I have no idea the password, the hint doesn't help at all and I never made a backup disk. My other issue is, I removed the option to add other accounts so the kids couldn't use the computer as it was for my business. How in the devil do I get to my spreadsheets?

Regarding the password issue, we can not help you on that due to recent forum rule changes.
The best way to get to the files is to remove the drive from the old PC and connect it to your new one using an external adapter -- but if the PC is really OLD, that can be a serious problem. If the old hard drive has two rows of small brass pins, that is an IDE drive and I'm not aware of anyone making external adapters for those anymore. Today, the adapters are all for SATA drives.
