Hi @Taco74, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A runtime error on your HP All-in-One 24-df0018 running Windows 10 can occur due to various reasons, including missing or corrupted system files, outdated software, or conflicts with installed programs.

Try These Steps to Fix the Runtime Error:

Restart Your PC

  • A simple restart can sometimes resolve the issue.

Identify the Error Message

  • If you see a specific error message (e.g., Runtime Error 429, 91, 13), note it down and let me know.

Run Windows System File Checker (SFC)

  • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
  • Type the following command and press Enter: sfc /scannow
  • Wait for the scan to complete and restart your PC.

Update Windows

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates and install any available updates.

Update or Reinstall the Problematic Software

  • If the error occurs when using a specific app, update or reinstall it.

Check for Malware

  • Run a full system scan using Windows Defender or third-party antivirus software.

Perform a Clean Boot

  • This helps identify if a background program is causing the issue:
    • Press Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
    • Go to the Services tab and check Hide all Microsoft services.
    • Click Disable all, then go to Startup > Open Task Manager.
    • Disable startup items one by one.
    • Restart your PC and check if the issue persists.

Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables

  • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  • Look for Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables.
  • Uninstall them and reinstall from Microsoft's official site.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
