Hi every body, 

I have got an issue with my HP EliteDesk PC, after few minutes pause without using the PC, the screen is blocked and I cannot unblock it by using the mouse or the keyboard

One drastic solution is to press the power off button, it works but you may loose your current work or a part of it

I find out another solution which is an old friend of mine (CTRL ALT DEL) this brings me to a pop up screen with 5 choices :

  • Verrouiller                              (Lock)
  • Changer d’utilisateur          (User change)
  • Se déconnecter                    (Disconnect)
  • Gestionnaire des tâches    (Task manager)
  • Annuler                                  (Cancel)

By selecting Cancel this allow me to retrieve my previous state with all the active windows without loose and allow me to pursue my current work

I hope this will be helpful for people like me.

My question is do you know of any parameter which will prevent to go to such blocked situation after few minutes of non use
