Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Set HpHwDiag As Administrator; This is a response to an old topic I didn't see the answer to. To run HpHwDiag as an admin, I found the icon they refer to in the Windows start menu. This you can right click & choose - run as admin. I don't know if it can be set to run that way always. & I think the .exe file is hidden.

The icon is nothing more than a shortcut. Have you tried dragging that to the desktop, then right-clicking it, selecting properties and having is set to run as Administrator? I have done this for several things I want to run this way by default.
