HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-3000i (4M0M1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

HP Envy PC TPE01 (see above), Windows 11 installed.

One year after purchase (as/2022), sleep function no longer exists/works.  Only hibernate.  The power button used to start blinking when the PC went to sleep, but now it's either "always on" or "off."

I tried every workaround that I could find on Microsoft or online, and tried to adjust when hard drive and screen go to sleep (20 and 10 minutes, respectively), but there is no "sleep" function anywhere -- not under Control Panel, the power settings, the power button, etc.

I just updated Windows and checked updates on my PC.  Tried resetting and on and on.

The only option is to set the computer to hibernate, but that works only sometimes.  And it means I have to restart the computer from shut down.

Help, folks!
