Can I put software on my D drive? There's not enough space on my C drive. And why is my D drive 4 times larger than my C drive yet has nothing on it?

Hi

you can do more than that, it answers the other question at the same time!
Windows is not configured automatically, to do so, but follow what is indicated:

https://www.ghacks.net/2019/10/14/how-to-change-the-default-save-location-in-windows-10/

Then
create a new folder, give it a name: Applications programs what you want
It will depend on your programs, some do not allow it, when installing click on the options to change the location
This may vary with the program, then choose the destination to the created folder.
Be careful because sometimes, when installed, the program is saved directly in the folder, so you have to create a subfolder with the name of the program manually.
