HP Pavilion 500-c60 Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This computer is the slowest computer I have ever used. It takes forever to startup and runs really slow.

Pavillion models are home or consumer models sold in big box store.

They come preloaded with crapware (demo program installed by HP and/or the retailer) to get you to buy the demo programs.

Often they popup scary messages to entice users to buy licenses.

If this is a new PC, then make a bootable USB key on another PC and boot from that and COMPLETELY wipe out everything on the PC.

I never use any 'factory installation' of any PC.  I always wipe and reload.

Often the crapware will slow your PC and then offer a paid solution to fix a problem they created.

Bottom line, get help to wipe the PC, or return it and get a business/enterprise model (Probook/Prodesk, Elitebook, Zbook)

Hope this helps

I forgot to add, once you are wiping it, get the ISO for Windows 11-24H2 and use that to create a bootable USB key (I use rufus.ie)

Note, with RUFUS, you can install Windows 10/11 on really old PC's too.  I have tested Window10 on even pre Core i series (ie 15+ yrs old Core 2 Duo/Quad CPU) and it works perfectly.
