Support Assistant is offering me "SDK Pack for OMEN Command Center" to install.  SoftPaq: sp109023; Version: 1.0.30.

Why is this showing up? I do not think it is applicable to my system since the OMEN command center is not part of this system load.  Also, my system is not one of the compatible systems listed on the OMEN support webpage: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05387497

So, if this is this an inappropriate update for my system - which I believe it is, how do I get Support Assistant to stop offering "bad" updates.

You are correct, Hibb1, and I do ignore it. That was not the point. One of the reasons someone buys a pre-built and not building from scratch is to get the updates pre-packaged and not having to go to the various MFR websites to get the latest drivers, etc.  In my younger days that was what I did, now I just don't have the time for that stuff. So, I just want it to work.

Possibility 1) HP does not know why this is happening but it is not economical for HP to find out.

Possibility 2) HP has identified the issue but the priority of this particular software update is too low to get implemented.

SOLUTION: Ignore and realize the HP is not able to provide 100% functioning software.

@Brikimg

I reviewed your post and I understand that the HP support assistant is pushing incorrect updates for your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall the HP support assistant from your computer and then download and install it from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

Bump bump .... Can someone from HP jump back into this thread ...

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?  HP, are you reading?  Can someone jump back in to resolve this .. or at least tell me - "Hey, we don't care. We got your $$ and your on your own now."

HP support Assistant continues to tell me to install an SDK for Omen Command Center. My PC is NOT an OMEN, does not have Omen Command Center installed ...

When it first appeared, it installed and I lost all IP service and could not restore. I had to use a restore point. I've changed my settings to prevent auto-installs. So, there it sits. Lurking, waiting.

Why is it there?  I've uninstalled, reinstalled, I even drank Old Dr. Brown's Cream Soda and stood on my head ... still, there it is.

Take a look, The PC is an M01-F0xxx (F0016) and there is the SDK, even has the yellow icon to get my attention.

Not sure mate. Sounds like it could be a glitch. Personally I'd just ignore it if you know it's not valid for your PC or uninstall HPSA and leave it off. It's not mandatory to have it on there.
