System registry file is missing or contains errors, error code: 0xc0000225

I don't have DVD to reinstall

HP Recommended

1. Restart Windows.

2. Before it fully starts up, hold-down the on/off button for 30 seconds, until the computer powers-off.

3. Repeat #1

4. Repeat #2

5. Repeat #1

6. Window may boot into the "Recovery Console", giving you the chance to use "System Restore" to time-warp your computer back to a date/time before you had the issue.

 

If you need the media, you might be able to order a copy of the media from HP Support.
