OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024

@Vemavick,

You posted the following PM in my inbox, quote:

"So I have a OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024 I would like to really know is there any chance that a BIOS update is ever going to come out for this or if it is AMD I am waiting on for an update. I just need some type of feedback because if this is the case I just have no other choice to shop around for a whole new PC which sucks being that COD is the only thing giving me this issue!"

The good news is that your PC is not blacklisted in this latest HP document: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_15055779-15055888-16.  Meaning, HP may still develop a BIOS fix for your PC. As a volunteer contributor, I have no special insight or access to any pertinent information with regards to ongoing efforts by HP to address this BIOS issue.

Perhaps @Raj_05 could shed any light concerning your PC.

In the meanwhile, the only other directive I am aware of is to try the troubleshooting steps as outlined in this document: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Troubleshooting-TPM-Attestation-Errors-on-your-g....

Best Wishes and Good Luck,

@Vemavick

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns. We understand that this may not be the outcome many customers were hoping for, especially after waiting for an update.

The guidance provided in the Technical Knowledge Base (TKB):
https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Troubleshooting-TPM-Attestation-Errors-on-your-g...
reflects the latest information available from our engineering teams. While clearing or resetting the TPM may resolve the issue on some systems, it can also affect Windows security settings and, in certain cases, may require system recovery or additional configuration. For that reason, we've included both the recommended steps and the associated disclaimer so customers can make an informed decision before proceeding.

Regarding BIOS updates, each release undergoes extensive validation to help ensure system stability, security, and compatibility across supported platforms. For products that have reached the end of their supported lifecycle, introducing additional firmware changes may not always be feasible due to engineering, validation, and support constraints.

At this time, the guidance shared in the TKB represents the latest information available from the engineering team and should be considered the current and final recommendation. Should there be any future updates or changes, we will be sure to communicate them through the community.
