When problem happened, the mouse is out of control. There will be a blinking circle at the center of left side of the screen.
It keeps blinking with the mouse arrow inside the circle and the regular mouse arrow can not be easily control anymore.
Restarting the computer without powering down did not help. Only power down the computer can go back to normal. But
the problem can happen less than 30 minutes again. Very annoy. Don't know if anyone experienced the same problem before.

Hi @xiaoqian,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Pavilion All-In-One PC 27 mouse is randomly malfunctioning, there could be several reasons behind this issue. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially fix the problem.
Check the Mouse and USB Connection:
- Make sure that the mouse is properly connected to one of the USB ports on your PC.
- Try using a different USB port to see if the issue persists.
- Inspect the mouse cable for any physical damage. If you find any, it might be time to replace the mouse.
Try a Different Mouse:
- If you have another mouse available, try using it to see if the issue is specific to the mouse or the computer.
Restart Your Computer:
- Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches or software conflicts that may be causing mouse malfunctions.
Check for Software Conflicts:
- Ensure that you don't have any conflicting mouse software or drivers installed. Sometimes, third-party mouse software can interfere with the normal functioning of a mouse. Try uninstalling any unnecessary mouse-related software.
Update Mouse Drivers:
- Go to the HP website or use the HP Support Assistant to check if there are any driver updates available for your mouse. Install any updates if available.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Make sure your operating system is up-to-date. Sometimes, Windows updates can include fixes for hardware issues.
Mouse Settings:
- Adjust your mouse settings in the Windows Control Panel to ensure they are configured correctly. Pay attention to settings like pointer speed and sensitivity.
Mouse Hardware Issues:
- If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there is a hardware problem with the mouse itself. In this case, you may need to replace the mouse.
System Restore (Advanced):
- If the issue started recently, you can try using the System Restore feature to revert your computer to a previous state when the mouse was functioning correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
