I have a program for tuning the EFI on my Car. The old program opens just fine, the one keeps showing this when I try to open it. "The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-string-i1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer."

That message means that a DLL (library) that the app relies on to work is either not installed on your PC, or is not the version the app needs in order to run.

 

Most apps do a scan of the PC when they are being installed, and if they find some DLLs are missing, download an install them.

 

We have no way of supplying you with DLLs, so you will need to contact the app vendor and get it from them.
